The work of an Epsom artist is to be celebrated with a posthumous exhibition.
Leslie Worth, who died in 2009, is to be honoured at The Royal Watercolour Society Spring Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery in London.
Leslie Worth, who was a former president of the society, taught at Epsom School of Art in the 1940s where he was head of the fine art department, before retiring to paint full time.
He lived near Epsom Downs which was the inspiration for many of his paintings.
Thought to be one of the finest watercolourists of his generation, Worth is known for his Romantic paintings of the traditional British landscape, although he travelled widely.
This is a rare opportunity to see 20 pieces by the popular painter which are in private collections or held by Bankside Gallery and the Society’s Diploma Collection.

The exhibition runs from March 22 to April 21 at Bankside Gallery, 48 Hopton St, London SE1 9HJ.
