VIDEO: Children with autistic siblings tell their stories at the Charles Cryer in Carshalton
9:00am Thursday 14th February 2013 in News By Sophia Sleigh, Reporter
Children who have siblings with autism are telling their stories.
A unique project will culminate in a free drama performance at the Charles Cryer Studio Theatre.
The Awards For All is a funded collaboration between a theatre company, Tangled Feet, and Rainbow SIBS, a support group for children whose siblings have autism.
The event will also mark the launch of a new Sutton branch of the National Autistic Society.
Through performance they hope to raise awareness of the challenges for siblings, highlighting the need for communities to better understand issues surrounding autism.
Sibling Stories; The Charles Cryer Studio Theatre, 36 High Street, Carshalton; February 23; 3pm; free but tickets must be pre-booked; contact suttontheatres.co.uk or call 0208 770 6990.
