According to housing benefit, when you have no money and ask for a crisis loan it is not an emergency if you have no gas and electric. My partner and I tried applying and was told we couldn't have one.
When asked what we are supposed to do we were told to get water bottles and blankets. But if you get a job and need your fare that's apparently more important.
What is going on with this country.
It is totally disgusting people today are still being treated like scum when they are poor. It seems there is one rule for the rich and one rule for the poor. No wonder people go out and still.
