I notice the council is considering limiting the placement of advertising boards on the pavement outside shops.
Whilst welcoming the need to improve the appearance of the locality and understanding health and safety considerations, why charge small businesses £335 for the privilege?
The bin men often leave my emptied bin in the centre of my drive, thus blocking vehicle entry from a busy major road; could this be construed as more of a hazard than the aforementioned?
