I know there have been letters before in your paper about high parking fees in Epsom. Last Saturday my daughter and I parked in the Ashley Centre. We had a lot to do and so expected to be some time. When we returned we were charged £17.50 for six hours parking.
If we had only been five hours it would have been £5. We were flabbergasted to have to pay this amount and cannot see how it is justified. It is ripping the motorist off. It is no wonder people are not coming to shop in Epsom with charges like that. I doubt I shall be parking there in the future.
