Sutton's leisure centres compete for award

Three of Sutton’s leisure centres are taking part in this year's national Health Club Awards. 

The Phoenix Centre, Cheam Leisure Centre and Sutton Arena have all put themselves forward for the national voting stage of these awards. 

Mark Basker, contracts manager for Everyone Active in Sutton, said: "It's fantastic that three of the centres in the Sutton contract feel that they have a good enough relationship with their customers that they can put themselves forward for this award. 

"We are very proud of the level of service that we provide to all of our members and hopefully this will be demonstrated through the results later in the year."
