Four people had to be evacuated from flats above Oxfam in Wallington after a fire broke out last night.

The London Fire Brigade were called at 12.45am to the fire  on Woodcote Road which damaged 25 per cent of the ground floor.

Four fire engines were called to the scene and 20 fire fighters attended. Nobody was injured and the fire was brought under control within 45 minutes.
