Bingo-ing mad: 80-year-old arrested after pensioner punch up in bingo hall
A row between two female pensioners at a bingo hall ended in a punch up at the weekend.
An 80-year-old woman was queuing for her lunch at Riva Bingo on Sunday (March 3) when she was urged to hurry up by the 72-year-old woman behind her.
According to police, the younger protagonist called her octogenarian elder a "stupid old woman".
The older assailant reacted angrily to the impudence, and returned with a "mouthful of abuse" according to police.
Not content with her retort, the 80-year old punched the younger one in the face - with the younger woman suffering minor bruising.
At the time staff, were serving lunch at the bingo hall in St Nicholas Road.
Officers from Sutton Town Centre team cautioned the 80-year-old for assault but have decided to take no further action.

I've been up there a couple of times and there are some really nasty people - pushing to get their 'personal' seats which always win - funny that!!!!
