Where do you think the best curry comes from?
An MP is looking to curry favour from the community in his quest to find the best South Asian restaurant in the area.
Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake wants to find one restaurant from his constituency to enter the Tiffin Cup - an award for the best south Asian restaurant in the country.
Mr Brake, a firm fan of a good curry, said: "The Tiffin Cup is a great opportunity to celebrate the best of South Asian cuisine in Carshalton and Wallington and to champion a local business.
"I am sure there are many great restaurants in our area, but I would like to ask all the local curry-lovers to help me find this one special place.
"Who knows, maybe UK’s next top South Asian Restaurant is somewhere in Carshalton and Wallington?"
This year's Tiffin cup is the eighth incarnation of the award.
Members of Parliament from all over the country have been asked to nominate the most popular restaurants in their constituencies.
Ten finalists will be invited to a cook-off when the winner will be decided.
As well as celebrating South Asian food, the competition will be raising money for the charity World Vision.
Nominations can be sent to Mr Brake by email on info@tombrake.co.uk or by post to 5 Nightingale Road, Carshalton, SM5 2DN. All nominations have to be submitted by 27th March.
