A primary school held its second Mini Marsden March.

Pupils from Seaton House walked from the school in Banstead Road South to the Royal Marsden cancer hospital on Friday, March 8.

This year the walk is even more poignant for the school as a member of staff is receiving treatment at the Royal Marsden.

At the most recent count the school had raised over £7,000 but the total is expected to rise.

Seaton House marketing manager, Val Mathews, said: “Although it was pouring with rain, the walk was carried out in good spirits and with lots of enthusiasm - and there wasn’t a single whinge about the bad weather.”
