Friends are pulling together to send a three-year-old to America for stem cell therapy.
Sharon Graham and Gary Harding completed the first of many fund-raising events to send their friend's daughter Evie-Mae Fleet for help with her cerebral palsy.
The pair of organisers arranged a five kilometre sponsored walk with friends and family, which raised £2500.
Mrs Graham's two granddaughters aged six and eight managed the walk and on their way they collected £450 in collection buckets.
The two girls were also joined by the Blue Starz Cheerleaders.
Dorchester Primary School and it's Head Teacher; Louise Austin arranged a charity event of their own which generated a further £400.
The next fundraiser is a Celebrity Football Match to be held at Imber Court Sports Ground, East Molesey, Esher, Surrey on Sunday 21 April with a kick off at 1pm.
