Residents in Tooting’s Furzedown ward will be able to question their locally elected representatives and senior council managers at a special feedback session on Monday.

The council-organised 'Let's Talk' meetings give residents the chance to deliver their verdicts on local services and highlight areas of concern.

Topics that members of the public regularly raise include street cleaning, recycling, parking, policing, public transport and the NHS.

The meeting will be chaired by the leader of the council Ravi Govindia, who will be joined by Furzedown ward councillors Leonie Cooper, Mark Thomas and John Farebrother, plus the leader of the opposition Rex Osborn.

Senior officers from all the main town hall services will also be on hand to answer questions from the audience, address locally identified concerns and take on board suggestions for service improvements.

The meeting is being held at St Albans Church, on the corner of Pretoria Road and Thrale Road in Tooting on Monday, April 15 from 7.30pm onwards.

People who are unable to attend can submit questions in advance via the council's website at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/letstalk. A summary of the issues raised by residents will be posted on these web pages after the meeting.

People with a disability who require support or assistance to attend should call Gareth Jones on 020 8871 7520 or email garethjones@wandsworth.gov.uk
