A penis was scrawled on a delivery man's face moments before he was killed with a single punch, a court heard.

Anthony 'Chillerman' Thompson, of Derinton Road, Tooting, died of a brain haemorrhage following a fight outside a house party.

Thomas Evans, 32, of Bordesley Road, Morden, denies killing the 26-year-old in Holmbury Court, Tooting, on February 5 last year.

The Old Bailey heard condoms fell out of Mr Thompson's pockets and the party host scrawled a penis on his face when he fell asleep.

Witness Vanessa Barrows, a childhood friend of both Mr Thompson and Evans, said: "Condoms fell out of his pocket. I got my lipstick out and drew a penis on his face.

"He took it as just a laugh."

She said the evening before Mr Thompson's death she attended a party in The Bec Bar, in Tooting Bec Road, Tooting, where Evans was DJ-ing.

The celebrations continued back at her flat, with her brother Christian Barrows and Mr Thompson, known to friends as Chillerman, joining in later at about 2am.

A jury heard guests at the flat drank a large amount of alcohol, with some taking cocaine and smoking canabis.

After the penis was drawn on his face Mr Thompson began challenging men in the room.

Ms Barrows said: "It was just silly boy banter between the two boys Anthony and Tom. Anthony bickering about this who is stronger than who.

"He said that he was stronger than Tom. They were just bickering, there was nothing serious at that point.

"Tom said if it did come to anything now they should deal with it during the week when everybody was sober."

She began to drift asleep on the sofa, but was alerted to the two men fighting outside.

But Mr Thompson was already lying unresponsive on the floor without his top on by the time she made it downstairs.

Ambulance and police were called, with her brother accompanying Mr Thompson to hospital.

The trial continues.
