Sir,
Since when has Kingston Council been able to pass changes to housing re-development plans without a public consultation?
The Council’s Development Control Committee have recently made changes to plans for Cocks Crescent in New Malden which could mean that the new housing would be 100% social housing and not the previously approved mixed housing.
This change could adversely affect residents, and what’s more the Council’s action sets a precedent which is essentially undemocratic.
There should be a public consultation immediately.
