The London Fire Brigade is consulting on proposed closures of fire stations.

The measures are laid out in the draft Fifth London Safety Plan and were put together by the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority.

They include plans to save £28.8m, the closure of 12 stations and removal of 18 fire engines.

They are inviting residents of Sutton and Merton to a public meeting on Tuesday, May 21, from 7-9pm at Merton Civic Centre in London Road, Morden.
