A not-for-profit organisation has been set up to offer sporting and work opportunities to people aged 14 to 25.
Be Nice is currently working with Brooklands College to develop a network of businesses that can offer work placement or job opportunities for those undertaking apprenticeships and graduate opportunities.
The sporting programme, funded by Active Surrey’s Sportivate initiative, starts mid-May at Sandown Sports Centre and will offer six-week coaching sessions in boxing, golf, gym and fitness, karate, orienteering, skiing and squash.
Sessions will be coached by Surrey-approved level 2 coaches and 20 places are available for each sport, costing no more than £2 each To take part, email admin@benice.org.uk.
Employers who can offer work placements for young people from Brooklands College or to Elmbridge graduates should email jobs@benice.org.uk.
