A woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a female driver was involved in a collision with three cars.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, with happened in Hersham Road, Walton, at about 5pm on Thursday, April 18.

After an argument between two men, the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta drove towards the man, colliding with a black Vauxhall Corsa, a black Mercedes E320 and a black Volvo V70.

The driver then fled the scene.

The Vauxhall and Mercedes received minor damage and both drivers were taken by ambulance to St Peter’s Hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

The Volvo was more seriously damaged and considerable damage was caused to the front and rear of the Fiesta.

The drivers of these vehicles did not require medical treatment.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested a short time later at an address in Walton on suspicion of dangerous driving and was released on bail until Tuesday, May 28.

Dawn Worsnip, investigating officer, said: “Given the time of day that this incident has occurred, there were a number of motorists and pedestrians in the area.

“I would urge anyone who believes they witnessed any part of this incident to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference EL/13/2424.”
