Six fire engines and at least 20 firefighters are currently battling a blaze at a two-storey maisonette in Gladstone Road, Kingston, near the Kingstonian FC ground.
Two engines from Kingston, and one each from New Malden, Wandsworth, Twickenham, and Heston, are at the terraced house, London Fire Brigade said.

The fire started on the ground floor and is spreading to the roof.
The building was evacuated and nobody is believed to be hurt, the brigade added.
London Fire Brigade was called at 5.09pm.
