Misha B wishes Sharon Osbourne had been her 'X Factor' mentor.

The 21-year-old singer was under the care of Kelly Rowland when she competed on the programme in 2011 but she is a big fan of the outspoken former panellist - who is rumoured to be returning to the show this year - as well as Jessie J, a coach on rival show 'The Voice'.

She said: "Jessie J tells it like it is. And I love Sharon Osbourne. I wish she could have been my mentor when I was on 'The X Factor'. She's a fiery woman."

Misha believes current celebrities are too dull, and thinks they should be more like stars from her native Manchester, such as Liam and Noel Gallagher.

She added to the Daily Star newspaper: "People aren't rock star enough these days.

"There aren't many people who stand for what they believe in, without worrying what people say about them. I love people who push boundaries and are feisty.

"Us Mancunians are very thick-skinned. We know how to have a laugh and not take stuff too seriously.

"People are too 'media management' these days."
