Richmond College has celebrated another successful year, with eight students given conditional offers for Cambridge University.

Martha Aitken, Paul Alexander, Joe Brennan, Bradley Doyle, Jessica Ginn, Matthew Judge, Isabella Lindlsey and Jocelyn Major all received the good news last term and can now look forward to studying at one of the world’s top performing universities.

Among the subjects they will read are modern and medieval languages, medicine, English, maths, science and engineering.

Principal David Ansell said: “This is a splendid achievement based on hard work as well as determination to gain places at such a sought-after university.

“I wish them every success for what lies ahead and I am in no doubt they will do Richmond upon Thames College proud in their future studies and careers.”

In 2012, 893 Richmond College students went on to higher education at universities across the UK, with 122 going to Russell Group universities and 185 to UK universities ranked in the top 200 in the world.
