A vehicle was pulled over in Kingston as part of a police crackdown on illegal drivers.
The incident happened on South Lane this morning.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “The person was arrested for having no insurance.”
Operation Cubo is a London-wide effort to stop people driving on the roads illegally, focusing on uninsured drivers.
