It is time for runners to pound the streets for charity at a Cobham law firm’s annual 5km run, in support of Princess Alice Hospice.

This will be the sixth year law firm Mundays has organised the charity event to take place at Bushy Park in Hampton Court at 6.30pm on May 22.

Mundays has already raised more than £14,000 and hopes to generate a further £3,000 in sponsorship to support the hospice, providing end-of-life care for free to adult patients and support to their families and friends across Surrey, south-west London and Middlesex.

Valerie Toon, managing partner at Mundays, said: “The care and support which Princess Alice Hospice provides is vital and it’s enormously important they have the support to do this free of charge.”

Ashleigh Tennent, senior community fundraiser, said: “The run is now very much a tradition and it is wonderful to see supporters coming back each and every year. We want to say a huge thank you to the Mundays team for making this happen.”
