Tree blown into precarious position in high winds
Firefighters had to secure a tree which was blown into a precarious position outside a block of flats in high winds last night.
A crew from Wallington fire station was called to Harcourt Lodge in Croydon Road where a tree had almost been blown over in last night's winds.
The firefighters cordoned off the area around the tree. Sutton Council has been made aware and has been in touch with the landowner.
