Sutton Borough Commander Detective Chief Superintendent Guy Ferguson said: "We look forward to welcoming many people to our open day. This is a great opportunity for people to see how we work and to talk to our officers. This is all about us being open and approachable and wanting to have the support of local residents.

"Policing is most effective when it’s policing with the consent of the local residents and we are extremely fortunate in Sutton to have local communities who want to work with the police."
