Guides were given awards for their hard work at an annual ceremony last month.
Cheam 14-year-old Joanna Male and Carshalton girl Nancy Walter, 16, were among those honoured at the Jack Petchy Awards.
The awards honour young people who have shown the ability to motivate other young people and the ceremony was held at Kings centre in Chessington in April.
Nancy joined 1st Carshalton Guides in 2006. Since then she has become a youth leader and has helped organise a range of events.
Joanna has taken on additional responsibilities within the unit and has run several activities. She has also mentored other Guides with special needs.
Mayor of Sutton Councillor Sean Brennan attended the ceremony. He said: "It has been an amazing celebration of achievement, motivation and leadership both for the Guides and their leaders – extraordinary! I would like to congratulate all the girls who received awards."
