An elderly woman suffered back and neck injuries following a collision in which a car ended up on its roof.
The woman was injured after two cars collided in Foresters Drive in South Beddington this morning.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called just after 10am to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars. We sent a single responder in a car and an ambulance crew.
"Staff treated a patient, reported to be in her seventies, for back pain and neck pain and she was taken to St Helier Hospital."
Foresters Drive in South Beddington was closed both ways after the incident at about 10.20am.
The accident between Mollison Drive and Wordsworth Road/Sandy Lane South meant the 154 and 455 buses missed out the Foresters Drive and Mollison Drive part of their route.
