A disability charity is giving free tours of a rose garden during Chelsea Fringe.

Thrive, a charity which uses gardening to help disabled people, is hosting tours of the Old English Garden, in Battersea Park.

On May 23 the charity has arranged a sensory day led by a sign language interpreter, horticultural therapist Ruth Yeo and a gardener.

Special attention will be paid to texture and scents of the garden during the talks.

All tours include information about the history of the garden and its two renovations, with a refurbishment most recently funded by Jo Malone and designed by Sarah Price.

Refreshments and items for sale will be on offer at The Herb Garden, minutes away from the garden.

The tours will be running May 20 to May 24 at 11am and 1.30pm.
