A Japanese cultural day was held in Sutton.
The free event on Sunday at SCOLA, in the town centre, featured martial arts iaido, which includes the use of a sword, and Kendo, which uses bamboo swords.

Visitors also got to experience Japanese calligraphy, a bonsai tree display and kimono wearing.
