All Shook Up: Ben Thompson to perform in Sutton

Since then he has gone on to play at venues across the UK and Spain and now he is returning to Sutton for an audience in his home town.

He has vowed to "up his game" for his performance at Sutton's Boom Boom Club and is promising a great show for Elvis fans.

Thompson says: "I have always been an Elvis fan since I was really young. I always watched him and listened to him and my parents have always been into him.

"I’m an absolutely huge fan. I’ve got so much merchandise.

"It all started by off chance when the St Helier festival first started. I was 15 and did a couple of numbers. It’s kind of gone on from there really.Your Local Guardian:

Hound Dog: Thompson does every era of Elvis

"The enjoyment I get is overwhelming. It’s the best job in the world. It’s for Elvis fans - that’s why I do it.

"I’m really lucky I’ve got to see most of the country and I will continue to do it as long as I’m able to. There comes a point when you can’t shake across a stage and move as much but I will do it so long as I can do it.

"I give 110 per cent every time. They will get a great show. I hope they enjoy it."

Thompson along with a backing band, The CC Riders, will put on a full production with a catalogue of timeless hits.

He will replicate every era of Elvis, with the movement of the 50's, the charisma of the 60's and the stage presence of the 70's.
