Police have released CCTV images of a group of youths after a recent spate of vandalism and burglaries on an industrial estate.

Residents and business owners of the Durnsford Road Development in Wimbledon, including Vantage House and Weir Road, have reported several incidents of vandalism since January 2013 which have resulted in thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Police believe a group of youths may be responsible for two burglaries on May 11 - one at Vantage House in Weir Road and one at a residential block at Reynolds Gate on Durnsford Road.

In both incidents trespassers broke into the property causing damage to doors.

On Monday, April 22, a car was vandalised at Vantage House in Weir Road and on two occasions on April 8 and 21, damage has been caused to a wall and light fittings at a residential block at Reynolds Gate in Durnsford Road.

All of the crimes took place between April 8 and May 11 on weekend evenings and Bank Holidays between 6pm and 10pm.

Officers believe a group of youths seen in the area may be responsible for the incidents and would like to speak to those pictured in connection with the incidents.

Police Constable Stephen Marsh, of Merton police, said: "The group of youths have been causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

"The local residents and businesses are having to pay for the cost of repair and they have had enough.
