Police are appealing for witnesses after an iPad was snatched from a passenger's hands on a train at Anerley station.

Officers have released images of four men they want to speak to in connection with the incident, which happened on Saturday, March 30.

The men are understood to have boarded the West Croydon to Dalston Junction service at West Croydon station.

Detective Constable Mark Agrippa, of British Transport Police, said the victim, a man in his 20s, was using his iPad on the train.

When the train approached Anerley at about 7.45pm he was approached by two men.

He said: "The iPad was snatched out of his hands by one of the group, while the others kept watch and held the doors open.

"All four then ran out of the train with the iPad.

"The stills we have are of excellent quality and I’m sure someone must know these men or their whereabouts."
