Detectives are appealing for information after a teenager was touched inappropriately at Tooting station.
British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on Monday, April, 15.
The victim, an 18-year-old woman, was walking towards the station at 7.40am and after she entered the station and headed downstairs to the platform, she was followed by a man who touched her inappropriately.
The teenager told staff immediately but the man ran away from the station before he could be questioned.
Officers have followed several lines of enquiry into the incident and have obtained images of a man they believe has key information about what took place.
Detective Constable Parkinson said: "This was understandably a distressing experience for the victim.
"Although the images aren’t particularly clear of the man’s face, he is carrying a very large holdall and has a distinctive logo on his jacket which we hope someone may recognise.
"If you know the man, or his whereabouts, then please contact us. "
Anyone with information should contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016, quoting reference B3/LSA of 22/05/2013. Or contact the independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
