Four cars were involved in a pile-up on the M25 last night.
Firefighters were called to the traffic accident between junction 9, to Leatherhead, and junction 8, to Reigate, at 11pm.
A Leatherhead fire station spokesman said he believed no one was seriously injured or trapped in the cars.
He said: "Firefighters just made the scene safe."
