A recovery and rehabilitation manager has won an award for her work at a mental health residential home in South Croydon.
Dominika Kostrzewska who works at Evergreen Lodge in South Park Hill Road, was presented with the Recovery Champion of the Year Award, at the Care UK mental health awards.
The ceremony celebrated the commitment of those who support people living with complex mental health conditions.
Miss Kostrzewska was given the award after leaving judges impressed with her devotion to helping residents become involved with projects in which they have a personal interest.
She said: "I was so surprised to win this award and can’t explain how grateful I am to be recognised for my role at Evergreen Lodge.
"I am incredibly proud of the fantastic work we do and would like to thank the team there for their continued support."
