Letters have been sent home to parents after inappropriate comments were made to a secondary school pupil.
It is understood that at about 6.40am today a student, believed to be from Greenshaw High School, was approached by a man.
It is alleged he made inappropriate comments to her outside Sutton Arena.
The man is described as white, having a foreign accent and approximately 5ft 10in with short grey hair.
The letters have described him as "in need of some dental work".
Schools have asked parents and pupils to be vigilant.
