Police are appealing for information after paving stones were stolen in Thames Ditton.

The York paving stones were taken from a property in Giggs Hill, Thames Ditton at about 11am on Monday, May 20.

Surrey Police said three men were seen taking the paving stones and driving off in a white transit van.

One man was described as about 20 years old, slim build and wearing a brown woollen hat.

The other two men were described as being a larger build.

Investigating officer PC Ian Madelin said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw these men trying to obtain these stone slabs to contact us with any information.

“If you think you might have seen something in connection with this incident, or anything suspicious involving a white van around this time in the area, please get in touch.”
