Epsom Council is calling on residents to get involved in a borough-wide spring clean-up tomorrow.
The event will be starting at 10am in three locations – the Bourne Hall car park, in Spring Street, Ewell; the Alexandra Road Recreation Ground car park; and in Linden Bridge School, in Grafton Road, Worcester Park.
High visibility vests, bin bags, litter pickers and gloves will be provided and all litter collected will be removed by the council.
A couple spokesman said residents should wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring thick gardening gloves if they have them.
He said residents are also being encouraged to organise their own clean-up.
Councillor Clive Woodbridge, who is spearheading the event, said: "Last year we were overwhelmed by the community spirit that was seen, with all kinds of groups and individuals joining in the clean-up.
"I believe events like this will help to create a greater sense of community pride, promote enjoyment of the borough amongst our residents and encourage further volunteering".
