Young children singing a medley of songs moved some elderly people to tears at a care centre on Thursday.
Epsom Primary School Choir sang numbers from Annie and Grease among other musicals to visitors at Appleby House Day Care Centre, in Longmead Road, Epsom.
Mrs Tubby, the school’s nursery and music leader, said: “This was a fantastic event for our younger children, they sang and did their actions beautifully, some of the audience were moved to tears.”
Orchard centre manager Elaine told the school she was so happy to see a gentleman just out of hospital smiling and enjoying the singing.
She said: “He has been quite down for a while, this has really lifted him.”
There were 32 student singers aged four to seven.
