A man has been rushed to hospital after a serious crash in Putney this afternoon.
Two cars collided near the Green Man pub on Putney Hill at just after midday today.
Firefighters had to free one man from a car with cutting equipment while the other driver was treated by paramedics.
Traffic was initially back up along Putney Hill and up to Tibbet's Corner but this has now cleared.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service (LAS) said: "We were called at 12.15pm to reports of a road traffic collision between two cars.
"We sent two ambulances and single responder to the scene.
"One man, aged 28, was taken to St George's Hospital as a priority."
