Next stop Europe: Royal Park U8s
Youngsters from Royal Park U8s took to the pitches at the Olympic Park to represent Surrey in the UEFA Champions League Festival on Sunday.
They faced neighbouring county FAs from London, Middlesex and the AFA, playing on the same pitch that hosted Champions League legends Cafu and Luis Figo earlier in the weekend.
Manager Kerstan Mackness boss: “The boys had an amazing day and said they felt like proper footballers playing in front of a large crowd – people were clapping and cheering.”
