A 58-year-old man who died following a flat fire in Rosehill has been named as father-of-one Andrew Kirby.
Mr Kirby was badly burned and suffered severe smoke inhalation when a fire broke out in his flat in Goodson House, Green Lane.
Firefighters were called to the block of flats shortly before 10am on Saturday. Mr Kirby, who lived alone, was rescued from the building and taken to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for treatment but died on Sunday.

It is understood around 25 per cent of the property was destroyed in the fire, the cause of which is under investigation. Firefighters were on the scene making sure the blaze was out until about 4pm.
