The mother of a toddler who escaped injury when she fell 12ft from a window claims it is a miracle her daughter survived.
The 21-month old girl fell from the bedroom window at her home in Farley Place, South Norwood, last Wednesday afternoon.
Her mum, who does not want to be named, said she had been clearing up after her other daughter had been sick when she heard a bang.
She said: "She was in her cot in the middle of the room but somehow got out. I just saw her little feet go and heard a bang.
"I ran downstairs but I never thought she would be alive. In my mind I was thinking she's dead, but when I got to the door I saw her standing up knocking at the door."
The girl was rushed to hospital but was given the all clear by doctors following a CT scan.
Her mother added: "It is a miracle she is here with us today and I am just so grateful to paramedics, police and hospital staff who have been involved."
