Volunteers’ Week, this week, is looking to inspire even more people to volunteer this year.
During the week ahead, volunteer centre staff will be manning promotional stands where people can find out more about volunteering opportunities.
Julia Gallagher, volunteer development manager for Voluntary Action Mid Surrey said: "Volunteers’ Week is a great time for people to discover some of the ways in which they can become more involved in their local community.
"We have over 400 volunteering opportunities currently available."
There will be stands at the Ashley Centre, Epsom, on Thursday, June 6, between 9am - 4pm; outside Barclays on Dorking High Street on June 7, between 10am -12pm; and at Ashtead Village Day on the June 8, between 12-5pm.
