Thousands of people turned out for the Classic Wheels & Fun Day in support of Woking and Sam Beare Hospices at Mercedes-Benz World.
Held at the Brooklands site for the first time, the day roared into action with a parade from the Chinese Association of Woking.
The event, on Saturday, June 8, was officially opened by the mayor of Woking, Councillor Anne Roberts.
Nearly 400 classic cars and motorbikes were showcased against the backdrop of sunny weather whilst entertainment was provided by a host of acts including Joseph’s amazing racing pigs and Summerscales Performers.
Sue Spencer, event organiser, said: “We were so privileged to be given the opportunity to stage a classic car show at this prestigious venue and I think it has been a huge success.
“The event committee, most of whom are volunteers, work so hard and I am so glad we have pulled it off and that the community came out to support our hospices.”
