Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in a fight.
Officers were called to the scene inin St George's Walk, Croydon, at 4.20am on Sunday June 2 and found a 22-year-old man suffering two stab wounds.
The victim was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
It is understood an argument occurred between two groups in the street and suspects then assaulted the victim.
One of the suspects is described as a black man, of slim build, approximately 5ft 6ins tall with long, plaited hair. One other suspect is described as a black man, approximately 6ft 1ins tall, with black hair and facial hair.
Detective Constable Lucy Shears, from Croydon police, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at that time and saw what happened.
"This was a violent assault, so I would ask you if you know who was involved to contact us or to call Crimestoppers anonymously.
"Fortunately the victim seems to be recovering, but this could have ended tragically, so I would ask anyone with information to get in touch as soon as possible."
