A 47-year-old man has been bailed following a crash that killed a motorcyclist on Sunday.
The man was arrested following the collision in St Peter's Road, which left a 55-year-old man dead.
The motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries after colliding with a black Volkswagon Toureg 4x4 at the junction with Dean Road at around 1.45pm.
Two men travelling in the 4x4 subsequently fled on foot.
The 47-year-old was arrested later on Sunday at a nearby address, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
He was today bailed until July 22 pending further enquiries.
The second man has not yet been traced.
Police are expected to named the 55-year-old later today.
Mourners left a bouqeut of flowers at the scene of his death, where fragments of his motorbike had been strewn across the road.
