Crews from Croydon fire station were called to two separate fires in West Croydon yesterday.
Three fire engines and 15 firefighters were called to a restaurant in London Road at 1.50pm, where part of the ground floor was alight.
The crews, two from Croydon and one from Forest Hill, had the fire under control by 2.40pm.
The crew were then called back to a kitchen fire in London Road at 6.55pm.
Four appliances from Croydon, Norbury, Wimbledon and Mitcham were called to the address and the fire was under control by 7.10pm.
No-one was injured in either incident.
