Tooting MP Sadiq Khan has been named the Capital's favourite MP in a radio poll.
Run by LBC Radio on Thursday evening, the poll asked people to nominate their favourite London MP.
A variety of nominations came in but Mr Khan was announced the winner following a flurry of calls from his constituents.
Mr Khan received votes for his work in securing a walk-in shower for a constituent's elderly mother and his support of Wandsworth's Sickle Cell & Thalassemia Support Group.
Listeners also said they like the fact he grew up in Tooting and went to university in London.
Mr Khan said: "I was really touched to find out so many of my constituents took the time to phone into the radio show to nominate me as the best MP in London, and was delighted to know I won.
"Tooting is a fantastic place to live, and I am very proud that after living here all my life, I get to represent my community as the Member of Parliament.
"I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who phoned in."
