Cyclists from Sutton were among the 28,000 who took part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride last weekend.
On 16 June in aid of the British Heart Foundation, a team of Newsquest employees cycled the 54 miles from Clapham Common to the Brighton Sea Front, raising £350.
The team included Gemma Hill, Steve Hill, Newsquest south London Managing Director Gary Kendall, Gary White, Andy Miles, Carol Ramsey and Denise Davies.
Gemma Hill, Newsquest IT support engineer, said: "To finish us all off there was a 550ft climb up Ditchling Beacon which a couple of the team managed to cycle up.
The only good thing about going up was the seven miles downhill to the finish line on Brighton Sea Front."
Newsquest South London publishes the Sutton Guardian, part of the South London Guardian series, as well as the Surrey Comet and News Shopper newspapers.
