A one-day adult ‘Adventurer’ ticket at Chessington costs £43.20.
Visitors to Chessington World of Adventures who became stuck when a ride broke down have been offered a refund.
The amusement park said this morning people trapped for hours on Rameses Revenge on Sunday evening had been offered refunds of the cost of their tickets.
A one-day adult ‘Adventurer’ ticket costs £43.20. A one-day child’s ticket costs £33.60.
The cause of the breakdown is not yet clear.
People stuck on the ride called emergency services themselves, according to a man leaving the park late on Sunday with his family.
The man, who wished not to be named, said he had been stuck for three-and-a-quarter hours.
